Allergies

There has been a major increase in Allergy over the past 30 years, including food allergy, and anaphylaxis.  Food allergies and eczema are common in young childhood.  As children grow older, airway problems can become more apparent and may develop into asthma.  This can be followed by allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (hay fever)  with blocked, itchy or runny nose and eyes.  In adulthood a wider range of allergies occur including to foods, insect stings and latex.
