There are no set visiting times on the unit, but we would ask that visitors do not leave too late in the evening and plan spaces between visits where possible to allow patients to rest.
Parking is complimentary for both patients and their visitors for the duration of their stay. A ticket will need to be displayed in your car to confirm that you are visiting the unit, this will be issued by a member of the Parkside Team. Please speak to a member of our Reception.
Parkside do allow flowers in the rooms – please ask a member of staff for a vase.
Free WiFi access is available 24 hours.
Please note that the fire alarms are tested every Tuesday morning.
The use of mobile phones is allowed on the unit.
Smoking is not permitted on the Parkside premises or anywhere within the grounds of the Trust.
The Parkside Suite has an extensive à la carte menu. Patients and their guests can request drinks at any time throughout the day. The Parkside Suite and Outpatients Department also benefits from tea and coffee machines that are accessible to both patients and their visitors. We can accommodate special dietary requirements including halal and vegetarians, these are available on request.
